Frequently Asked Questions

How do I start the free trial?

Install SP Bulk Search from Microsoft AppSource. The 7-day trial starts automatically on first use — no credit card required. You'll see a trial status banner inside the web part.

What happens when the trial expires?

After 7 days you'll need a paid subscription to continue using the product. Your SharePoint data is never affected — only the web part stops working until a subscription is active.

Can I search across multiple sites?

Yes. You can connect the web part to any SharePoint site in your tenant that you have access to, and run queries against those lists.

How many users does a subscription cover?

Subscriptions are per-seat. Each seat covers one named user. You can purchase additional seats from the in-product licensing panel or by contacting us.

Is my SharePoint data sent to your servers?

No. SP Bulk Search operates entirely within your Microsoft 365 environment. List content, field values, and user data never leave your tenant.

How do I install the web part from AppSource?

A SharePoint Administrator or Global Administrator can install it from the Microsoft 365 admin centre under Integrated Apps, or directly from AppSource. Once deployed to the tenant app catalogue it can be added to any modern SharePoint page.

I need to cancel my subscription — how?

Active subscribers can manage seats, update payment methods, and view invoices directly from the licensing panel inside the web part (click the Help & Licence icon, then Manage subscription). To cancel, use the billing portal or email us at support@sharepointtoolkit.com.

Where can I report a bug or request a feature?

Send an email to support@sharepointtoolkit.com with the subject "Bug:" or "Feature request:". We review all requests and prioritise based on customer impact.
