Who we are
DNG Software Pty Ltd is an Australian software company registered in Queensland (ABN 56 696 282 541). We make focused productivity tools for teams that live inside Microsoft 365 — SharePoint administrators, migration consultants, MSPs and the internal ops teams that keep the lights on.
We're deliberately small. Every product we ship is something we've had to build for ourselves or a customer, refined until it stands on its own. No venture capital, no growth-at-all-costs playbook, no sales team. Just working software with clear pricing and a real human on the other end of support.
SP Toolkit
SharePoint migration and management for Microsoft 365. Cross-tenant and same-tenant list, library and document migration with automatic lookup ID remapping, cross-tenant user resolution and full version history. Ships as an SPFx web part — runs entirely inside your tenant, no vendor-hosted infrastructure.
SP Bulk Search
Cross-site search, filter, export and bulk-edit for SharePoint list items — right inside SharePoint. Distributed through Microsoft AppSource. Zero data egress: everything stays within your Microsoft 365 tenant.
Declan Colman
Director & Sole Developer
Declan graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1997 with a double-honours BSc in Computer Science and Software Engineering, and spent his first year in the R&D team at Accuris Telecom Software in Dublin, writing billing systems for European telcos. He moved to Australia in 1999 and contracted through the Australian banking sector — Suncorp and Commonwealth Bank — before a stint back in Europe building a SWIFT-message ticketing system for ING Barings (formerly Banque Bruxelles Lambert) in .NET and COM.
Back in Australia from 2002 he spent another period in banking, then five years in the resources sector as lead developer on the Reliability-Centred Maintenance platform for RG Tanna Coal Terminal at the Port of Gladstone — at the time the fourth-largest coal export terminal in the world. In the early 2010s he moved full-time into the Microsoft SharePoint ecosystem, founding DC Software Solutions and releasing SP Data Manager and SP Data Doc — third-party SharePoint web parts sold direct to enterprise IT.
For most of the following decade Declan built custom web parts and Azure Functions for SP Marketplace before founding DNG Software Pty Ltd to focus on his own products — SP Toolkit and SP Bulk Search. Every line of code in both products is his, and every support call, migration call and services discovery call goes directly to him. Nearly thirty years in enterprise software, all of it built around the same problem: systems that don't lose data.
